Description: "We stayed here for 5 nights. The room was lovely with tea making facilities and there was always fresh coffee service; towels and toiletries in it. The bathroom was of a comfortable size and absolutely spotless.
Breakfast was also very good in the basement with arched vaulted ceilings, which is so typical of Paris. They offered coffee, juices, cereals, yogurt, cheese, canned fruit salad and delicious bread and croissants.
We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful without being overbearing. The location couldn't have been better! It was a short walk to cafés, to many restaurants as well as Notre Dame, Sainte Chapelle, Musée du Moyen-Age.
We would definitely stay here again and will recommend this hotel to friends!"
"I stayed at Hotel Dacia about 4 times. I've also stayed at many other hotels in Paris, including some 4 and 5 star hotels. I think this hotel is the best VALUE.
You get charmingly decorated rooms, nice bathrooms, a very good cleaning service, and a good location. Even though the rooms are small (compared to American hotels) you should think QUALITY and not QUANTITY when in Europe.
Plus, you shouldn't be spending too much time in your hotel room while you are in Paris anyway. Too much to see outside! The hotel is great for travel to and from CDG airport too, since the St Michel/Notre Dame station is just a short walk away.
Paris was wonderful; I can't wait to go back!"

This was my first stay in Paris and I loved the hotel. My friend, who had already visited Paris several times, said that this hotel was “original”. The room was very good… very clean, and exactly what I wanted for this first Parisian experience. The bathroom was also very clean and the staff were friendly. The location is great – a few minutes walk from Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter. It was a little further to the Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower, but, fortunately, the metro station is nearby. I would really like to come back to this hotel.

Description: Our 49 Rooms
Small or large, with one or two beds, either at the front or at the back of the hotel, all unique, and spread out over 6 floors, accessible by stairs or the lift.
The rooms are simple and pleasantly decorated with light colours, namely, without any pretensions or complications.
Each room is well ventilated with at least one window, and they are well heated in the winter thanks to the equipment installed and maintained regularly by professionals.
Bathrooms
Each room has an en-suite bathroom which is bright and comfortable. The bathrooms have a shower or a bath, and also a hairdryer. Most of them have separate toilets. Every bathroom is equipped with suitable and regularly renovated fittings, with a good supply of cold and hot water at proper temperature, as you would expect from a well kept establishment.
Our Advice
Your room will allow you to enjoy a good night's sleep at a reasonable price, in a simple, but clean and comfortable establishment, after a good day spent working, touring or shopping in Paris.
When you come to Paris, do as our regular guests do and simply let us know in advance and ... Trust us!
We will always advise you to the best of our ability and we will do our utmost to offer you the room suited to your needs (and your budget).

Description: 1st Nov 2005: Small rooms, very good situation, efficient staff
I stayed at the Hotel Au Royal Cardinal for one week with my mother and sister. The rooms are small, but always clean and comfortable. It is sometimes noisy at night time if the windows looking out on to the street are open, but once they are closed the rooms are very well soundproofed. The reception staff is fantastic and helped us to find a doctor when we needed medical attention. They also helped us to the book the shuttle bus to the airport which can be caught a short distance from the hotel. There are many places to eat nearby, as well as a chemist shop, a post office, an ATM machine and a subway station. Very good location and good value for money.

The hotel is very well located. Only 5 mins from Notre Dame and 3 mins from the Panthéon. It is the best place from which to visit the city and go out of an evening. There are so many restaurants in this area (between Boulevard Saint Michel and Boulevard Saint Jacques, as well as Rue Saint André des Arts). The building is old, the staircase is narrow and the rooms are small, but the hotel offers everything we need when we come to visit the city and need somewhere to sleep: a bed (with bolster) with shower/WC. We do not need anything else. The staff is pleasant. The hotel is situated near the subway station Cardinal Lemoine. If we come back to Paris we will come back to this hotel if we cannot find anything cheaper.
